102 Jesus said, "Damn the Pharisees! They are like a dog sleeping in the
cattle manger: the dog neither eats nor [lets] the cattle eat."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "화있을진저, 바리새인들이여! 그들은 소 여물통에서 잠자는 개와 같으니 개가 (여물을) 먹지 않고 소도 먹지 못하게 함이라."
103 Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who know where the rebels are
going to attack. [They] can get going, collect their imperial resources, and
be prepared before the rebels arrive."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "반역자들이 어디를 공격할지 아는 자들은 복이 있나니, 그들이 가서 제국의 자력을 모아 반역자들이 오기 전에 방비할 수 있느니라."
104 They said to Jesus, "Come, let us pray today, and let us fast."
그들이 예수께 말하길, "오셔서, 우리에게 오늘 기도하고 금식하게 하소서."
Jesus said, "What sin have I committed, or how have I been undone? Rather,
when the groom leaves the bridal suite, then let people fast and pray."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "내가 무슨 죄를 범하였는가, 혹은 어찌 내가 타락했다는 것인가? 차라리 신랑이 신부방을 떠날 때에 사람들로 하여금 금식하고 기도하게 하라."
105 Jesus said, "Whoever knows the father and the mother will be called the
child of a whore."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "그 아비와 그 어미를 아는 자는 창녀의 자식이라 불리우게 되리라."
106 Jesus said, "When you make the two into one, you will become children of
Adam, and when you say, 'Mountain, move from here!' it will move."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "너희가 둘을 하나로 만들 때 너희는 아담의 자녀가 되리라. 또 너희가 산더러 여기서 옮길지어다 할 때 그것이 옮기우리라."
107 Jesus said, The kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One
of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety- nine and looked for
the one until he found it. After he had toiled, he said to the sheep, 'I
love you more than the ninety- nine.'
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "그 나라는 백 마리의 양을 지닌 한 목자와 같도다.
백 마리 가운데 가장 큰 한 마리가 길을 잃었으매 목자가 아흔 아홉 마리를 남겨두고 찾을 때까지 잃은 한 마리를 찾았느니라. 그가 힘써 찾은 후에 그 양에게 말하길, '나는 아흔 아홉 마리보다 너를 더욱 사랑하노라'한지라."
108 Jesus said, "Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me; I myself
shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to him."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "누구든지 내 입으로부터 마시는 자는 나와 같이 되리니 나는 그가 되겠고 감추어진 것들이 그에게 나타나리라."
109 Jesus said, The (Father's) kingdom is like a person who had a treasure
hidden in his field but did not know it. And [when] he died he left it to
his [son]. The son [did] not know about it either. He took over the field
and sold it. The buyer went plowing, [discovered] the treasure, and began to
lend money at interest to whomever he wished.
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "그 나라는 마치 밭에 감추어진 보물을 갖고 있으나 이를 모르는 한 사람과 같도다. 그가 죽으매 그의 아들에게 그것을 물려주었으나 역시 아들도 이에 대해 모른지라. 그가 그 밭을 인계하여 그것을 팔았느니라. 그 밭을 산 자는 쟁기질하러가서 그 보물을 발견하여 원하는 누구에게든 이자를 쳐서 돈을 빌려주기 시작하였느니라."
110 Jesus said, "Let one who has found the world, and has become wealthy,
renounce the world."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "세상을 발견하고 부유케 된 자로 하여금 세상을 단념케 하라."
111 Jesus said, "The heavens and the earth will roll up in your presence,
and whoever is living from the living one will not see death."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "하늘들과 땅이 네 면전에서 말려 올라가겠으며 누구든 산 자로 말미암아 살고있는 자는 죽음을 보지 않으리라."
Does not Jesus say, "Those who have found themselves, of them the world is
not worthy"?
"자신을 발견한 자들에게는 세상이 가치가 없느니라."고 예수께서 말씀하시지 않았던가.
112 Jesus said, "Damn the flesh that depends on the soul. Damn the soul that
depends on the flesh."
예수께서 말씀하시니라. "망할진저, 영혼에 의지하는 육체여. 망할진저, 육체를 의지하는 영혼이여."
113 His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
그의 제자들이 그에게 물어 가로되, "언제 그 나라가 오겠나이까?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or
'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth,
and people don't see it."
"그 나라는 지켜봄으로써 오지 않으리라. 이는 '보라, 여기 있다' 또는 '보라, 저기 있다'하지 않으리니 차라리 아버지의 나라는 이 땅위에 펼쳐지되 사람들이 이를 보지 않느니라."

114 Simon Peter said to them, "Make Mary leave us, for females don't deserve
life." Jesus said, "Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too
may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every female who makes
herself male will enter the kingdom of Heaven."

시몬 베드로가 그들에게 말하되, "마리아로 우리를 떠나게 하라. 이는 여자들이 생명을 받기에 합당치 않음이라."
예수께서 가라사대, "보라. 내가 그 여자를 남자로 만들도록 인도하겠노라. 그리하여 그 여자가 너희 남자들을 닮은 생령(生靈)이 될 것이니, 이는 자신을 남자로 만드는 모든 여자가 하늘나라에 들어갈 것임이라."
